The 2019 Jeep Cherokee is a five-seat compact SUV that enhances its popularity with a few changes for the current year. To make loading easier, the hands-free rear liftgate automatically opens when your foot under the rear bumper when you have the special key fob with you. Inside views expand with the dual-pane sunroof that comes with a motorized sunshade. For compatibility with your smartphone, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay becomes part of the 4th-generation Uconnect® infotainment system, which gets a screen measuring either 7 or 8.4 inches. Also new is a capless fuel filler and a 2.0L inline-4 that increases your powerplant choices to three.
